Everyone loves mini albums right? They make great gifts and who doesn't love the look of a mini album sitting on their desk at work? On their fireplace mantel? Anywhere? They're just.... cute and mini.
I've been working on a mini for a friend this week. My husband is home visiting with family so I had a babysitter. Babysitter = free time to be creative!
So I finally got a chance to play with the papers I've had sitting in a pile for this book. I used a Jenni Bowlin 4x4 mini album. These are the perfect size to use up your scraps of paper and rubons. I had a lot of product that was 'almost gone' and I was trying to clean out the scrap room. So I've been busy making piles for all of the projects I'm going to be working on. Whenever I find a little 'trinket' I put it in the pile with that idea.
In this pile I had some Tinkering Ink papers and rubons, Jenni Bowlin mini Bingo cards, crystals, some leftover Basic Grey Elements stickers and some Bazzill scraps. Just some stuff leftover from other projects or Design Team kits.
And this is what became of the leftovers:
You can see more of the book in my gallery. I backed the mini Bingo cards and pages from the Making Memories Journaling Books with Bazzill cardstock and then inserted them between the pages of the mini book. So it was a page, insert, page, insert, page etc.
And this is perfect timing because we received another shipment from Maya Road this morning with more CHA Summer goodies. Their Acrylic Mini's. There are so many things you can do with these. We posted some pictures from their CHA booth on the blog. And of course, you can always check out the MR Blog and Creative Corner.
