Use Your Stash

What's the oldest thing you own?  Paper?  Embellishments?  Rubons?

If you regularly purge your stash, do you find yourself keeping this item because you just never know when you might need it or want it?

Or do you regularly go through your stash and find items that you know you bought for a reason?

Since we all have a decent stash, I'm challenging you to use it!  So is the Use Your Stash Challenge blog.  You have until the end of June to use some older products on a layout, card or any project for a chance to win.  We'll post a thread here asking you to link up pictures of your project and you can link it up there.  We'll draw three random winners from the comments and each person will win some  Stash Cash!

Start working on them now and look for the announcement to link them up!

I did your challenge!

Probably the oldest things I own are papers and buttons. I used some buttons (and other random, long-lost embellishments) on this layout.

hi hi,

this is my take for this challenge:

http://ourlittleblessing.wordpress.com/2009/06/15/f-is-for-family/

i used some of my "older" embellishment that i've always meant to use, but never got the chance to. i guess this is the best time to use them! :)

I think 10 yr. old pattern paper counts for old stash don't you? The only reason I have kept it for so long is because it was black with tiny white dots on it - and we all know that black never goes out of style. lol.

Here are a couple of cards so far. BTW, the stamps used on the cards are at least 5 yrs. old maybe older.

Well, I thought the challenge required using 3 different pattern papers by 3 different manufacturers but I can't seem to find the link to that so this one still works for this challenge:

I used some really old Anna Griffin and DCWV papers on this one as well as one sheet of new Jenni Bowlin and the lace is older than my mother! lol

After having done UYS's challenged this month, I realized that I really DO have a bunch of old pattern paper AND ribbon. And so, some other stash-using projects:

This one uses a combination of old and new papers, the plastic skittles are old(er) and I have no clue when I got that ribbon... Quite some time ago. Plus, I pulled out a never used stamp!

This one also uses old ribbon (green, stitched over...and a red mesh behind tears):

Opps, I was too fast to click the "publish your comment" button without keying in my name first (for the previous comment). Sorry!
