Tuesday Technique

Today, I would like to share with you a very simple technique to add a little something to your cards. Pop up cards have been popular for years, and are so easy and fun to make.You might recall doing this in school during your younger years.

Step 1 on your card base, create a rectangle in the center of the fold line. The length of your line will allow to create different distance view of your pop up elements. Experiment is the key.

Step 2 Using a craft knife or a scissors, cut along the longer lines.



Step 3 Then fold this inwards, opposite the original fold as shown below



Step 4 Adhere the card base to another sheet of card or paper slightly larger than your base. This will become the front and back of your card. It will also cover the rectangular hole that was made.


Step 5 Now just create your “pop up” design, and attach it with strong tape to your folds
