Check out Carries' tutorial on a cute 4th of July mini book.  All items are in stock in the store so you can customize this mini.  

Make your own embellishments.  Try some of the papers you wouldn't normally buy and make your own embellishments.  You can see some good ideas in the Stash Faves post from Thursday.
