Sweet Kits!

These kits were specially designed for the CHA Craft Show and are limited edition!

They feature your favorite paper lines and embellishments. Each kit comes with full color pictures and everything you need to make these oh-so-cute books.

The Vintage Love album is full of vintage fun! Featuring papers from Jenni Bowlin and tags from Elle's Studio contained in the perfect Maya Road mini album.

The Scalloped Heart album was designed by Creating Keepsakes Designer, Suzy Plantamura. Another Maya Road mini album, this one is a sheer heart with a scalloped border. Features papers and tags from Elle's Studio, paper from Making Memories, October Afternoon and Hambly. There is a LOT of awesomeness in this book.

This is one of those mini-mini books perfect for your purse or desk at work. It measures 3x4 inches but its full of goodness! It features Pink Paislee Cupid papers and Kraft and Sheer journaling tags from Maya Road. This was our most popular Make'n'Take at the booth so we decided to make a few more to share with everyone!

This 'happy' mini book is just that - HAPPY! Another one designed by Suzy Plantamura featuring Maya Road Kraft envelopes and Sassafras Lass Monstrosity. Have you noticed how chunky Suzy's albums are? So you know you're getting a ton of product in each one.

Friday Sketch

YAY It's Friday once again! So what does Friday mean here at the Stash??? IT'S SKETCH TIME!!!

I have so much Christmas photos taken last December and I thought that it's best if I scrap them immediately while I still have the most updated Christmas themed papers. This layout features some photographs taken during Christmas Eve of 2009 and I have used October Afternoon's Very Merry line which are all available from the YSS store.

Collage Press's Joyride

I know most of us want to put winter behind us and look forward to spring. And I'm one of you. But the fact is, it's still winter! In fact, its snowing where I live right now so I thought about the Joyride collection from Collage Press. I must admit, this is my all-time favorite collection this year. I love the bright non-traditional colors amd the fact that it's great for a Christmas themed layout or winter.

Quick Coaster Mini Book

I love the little shaped coaster albums my Maya Road. You can find tons of different shapes of them in the store here. I used the little coffee cup for this one along with the Basic Grey Nook and pantry album. If you are looking for a quick fun project or need a little gift for someone then this is the perfect idea and can be completed in an hour or two.

Supply list: All you need is a few simple supplies)

• Coordinating Patterned Paper
• Die cuts and tags ( I used the ones I had leftover from the Basic Grey Favor Boxes kit but any sheet of die cuts will work)
• Floss and/or ribbon
• Package Maya Road Chipboard shapes
• Sheet of rubons
• Matching Letter stickers for title
  
• Adhesive, Exacto Knife, and ink

Steps:

1. Adhere all your shapes to the sheets of patterned paper. Cut out with your exacto knife and then repeat with the other sides. Ink all edges.
2. Adhere small rectangles of cardstock to each piece besides the front cover. The blocks will serve as photo mats later on when you want to add photos. I used 2x3" mats.
3. Next create your cover. I added a small oval of brown paper to give my cup book the look of a coffee cup. Then I added matching letter stickers in 2 different colors for a title. I used diamond glaze on the brown letters and pink stickles on the pink letters to give them a fun look.
4. Next finish off the rest of the pages by adding tags, die cuts and chipboard shapes throughout. Don't go too crazy simple is better. Next add a few rub ons here and there and make sure to tie your ribbon or floss onto your tags. And walla your done!

CHA is HERE!

We are off to the CHA Consumer show for the next 4 days. We will be popping in at night to update you.

Look for our brand new FLIKR Gallery debuting tonight. It will be a nice place for us to store photos and videos from CHA past and present.

I've already seen a sneak of some of the booths at CHA and I can already tell you that there are some awesome products coming out.

My friend and I were at the CHA Expo for the last two days and what an experience! I'll be back this week to upload pictures and tell you all about it!

This weekend is the CHA Super Craft Show in Anaheim. If you haven't been stalking the manufacturer blogs like the rest of us there are some fabulous new releases that you just have to see! Some of my favorites that Your Scrapbook Stash will be getting in very soon are:

Sassafras Lass: If you haven't used their papers before you have got to try them out. Their bright use of colors make all your pages fun. Check out all their sneaks on their blog.
Always love Elle's Studio products. One of her tags always make it on my layout no matter what it's about. Check out the new Valentines lines here among other things.
And of course the new Cosmo Cricket is coming soon too! I have always loved their paper but now they also have chipboard alphabets, mini letter stickers and color core cardstock too! What more could you want??? Check out their blog for full release.
