Faux Stitching

Do you love the look of stitching on layouts but don't own a sewing machine? Or maybe you're like me and don't want to lug the big thing out. Not to mention the scary thought that something could go wrong and completely ruin your LO.
Thank goodness I discovered faux stitching. I do it all the time and it has fooled so many people. Shh...don't tell! It really does look real!

Let me show you how to do it...

Gather your supplies. You'll need:
white gel pen,
ruler,
paper piercer or any sharp point (I use a compass)

Using your ruler as a guide, pierce the paper about 1/2 cm apart.

Now just connect the dots with your white gel pen.

Here's a LO I made using this technigue. I lifted this LO from April Yap's adorable page "Hi QT" from the gallery.
