Tuesday Tip and Giveaway!

Flower Paper Clip

Do you still remember these paper clips from Making Memories? I found them while I was packing my stash, and I was inspired to come up with my own flower paper clips.

This is really simple and fast.

1) Punch out a circle scallop from thick pp.

2) Embellished with stickers and butterfly (I added Glossy Accents onto the butterfly to dimensionalized it, now it looks like gel sticker).

3) Use hot glue to adhere the paper clip to the back of the circle scallop.

4) Adhere the round pp on top to cover the paper clip.

Voila! You get a pretty flower paper clip.

There are so many fun ways to embellish the flower.

I am going to make lots of this for this year's Teachers' day. You can also use it on layouts, cards and other projects. My kids love using them as bookmarks.

Now it is time for my very first giveaway! Leave a comment here by June 11 (Friday) to win a $10 Gift Certificate from YSS. We will pick a lucky winner on June 12.

Also don't forget to visit the other girls blogs here for more giveaways!

This is such a great idea, I am so addicted to buying things that I overlooked the fact that some of these things can be just as easily be made by hand and you can actually add your own personal touch to them. Thank you!
